Primary Responsibilities

Agendize is looking for a North American Marketing Manager to lead its marketing efforts. Initially reporting to the CEO, the incumbent will be responsible for growing Agendize’s presence in its target markets across North America. As Agendize is a growing and dynamic company (Montreal office has doubled in past 12 months), the incumbent will work closely with all teams within the company but particularly the sales, support and product marketing teams in Agendize’s North American offices (Montreal and San Francisco).

Preferred candidates will have 2-5 years of experience leading B2B marketing efforts. The scope of the incumbent’s experience should ideally include but not be limited to lead generation, inbound marketing and sales pipeline nurturing. The incumbent will be help define the marketing strategy with the CEO and other members of management. In addition to leveraging existing internal marketing resources, he/she will be expected to recruit and manage a Montreal-based marketing team of 2-3 to meet Agendize’s growth opportunities.

This includes:

  • Developing and implementing successful strategies to generate awareness and interest in Agendize and its products.
  • Rigorous budgeting and evaluating the potential outcomes and payoffs of lead generation initiatives.
  • Planning and deploying successful marketing campaigns from initial conception to execution and tracking.
  • Close coordination with the sales team to deliver timely and effective messaging through each step of the Sales & Marketing process
  • Supporting existing major partner marketing requirements as required
  • Guide awards submissions and other publicity efforts to promote Agendize.
  • When required, work with external agencies to execute elements of campaigns while maintaining accountability
  • Configuring Agendize’s CRM and optimizing delivery of leads to the CRM
  • Build relationships with Agendize’s partners in the local marketing ecosystem
  • Provide timely and regular reports to the CEO and management team on the progress, performance and outcomes of campaigns
  • Stay up to date with both the latest industry trends, facts and figures as well as digital marketing best practices


  • Bachelor’s (Master’s Degree a plus) in marketing or commerce
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively in English and French
  • Use MS, Apple creative suites
  • Experience with WordPress CMS and Salesforce Web-to-Lead
  • Experience with Google Adwords and Facebook Ads platforms, as well as Linkedin and AdRoll or other retargeting tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics

Extra Credit

  • Skilled in design, using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom or similar graphic design tools outside of the Adobe suite
  • Ability in HTML/CSS
  • Experience as a Salesforce CRM admin
  • Deep experience in any of the following domains: content creation, content curation, copywriting, PPC or SEM campaigns, Social advertising campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, performance marketing, marketing analytics.
